Activity During WWII

Enlisted 12 October 1942. Honorable discharge 13 February 1946, Medical Technician 409. served with the 76th field hospital in the Asiatic-Pacific for 13 months. Performed various medical duties as a male nurse to assist medical officers in the care and treatment of the sick, injured and wounded. Gave emergency medical treatment to patients. Kept records of patients, administered medicines, took temperature, pulse, respiration rate and physical measurement. Battle: RYUKYUS. Asiatic-Pacific ribbon with one bronze star, Philippine Liberation Ribbon, American Theater Ribbon, Good Conduct Ribbon, WWII Victory Medal.
