First Lieutenant. He was a Marine Aviator, who served with the Marine Torpedo Bombing Squadron-232 ‘VMTB-232’, Marine Air Group-11, First Marine Air Wing in the South Pacific Theater of Operations. Reported missing in action, lost at sea Tuesday, November 23, 1943, and in remembrance of the brave, his name is recorded in the tablets of the missing, memorialized at the Honolulu National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific ‘Punchbowl’ Hawaii. This Marine, an American Patriot, awarded the Purple Heart posthumously, who so gallantly gave his life for his country.
