Activity During WWII

Served with the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 82nd Airborne Division. The Unit jumped in the dark morning hours on D-Day June, 1944 behind enemy lines in support of troops on the beaches of Normandy. September 17 parachuted into Holland 50 miles behind enemy lines for Operation Market Garden. refitting in France and sent to the Battle of the Bulge. after V-E Day was stationed in Frankfort, Germany and named Eisenhower's Honor Guard.
