Activity During WWII

Captain and Company commander of the 1077th Signal Company in England, attached to the 8th Air Force Headquarters, and later in Europe, mostly Belgium. The 1077th handled most secret communications for the Office of Strategic Services and Free French sabotage attacks before D-Day. Fought in ground combat at Frislar. He was recommended for the Croix de Guerre and Legion of Merit. Demobilized in December, 1945.
