Activity During WWII

Drafted in 1940. Officer's training at Randolph Field, Alabama, then navigation school at San Marcos, Texas. Trained as a flight radar technician. Flew a B-29 at Tinian with the 20th Air Force, 6th Bomb Group. Flew 32 combat missions and received the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal with three oak clusters.
