Military Police 677. Fought with the 424th Infantry Regiment of the 106th Infantry Division. Arrived in England in November, 1944 and moved to France that December. Saw action in the Battle of the Bulge in December, 1944. As part of the 106th, he was assigned to the Ardennes-Alsace campaign until January 1945, then re-assigned to Rhineland campaign until March. Fought in the Central European campaign that began in March, 1945 until entering Germany in April, 1945. Inactivated October, 1945 at Camp Shanks, New York.
