West Point Class of 1942. Participated in the China-Burma-India Theatre of Operations and Vietnam. Served with Merrill’s Marauders. He was part of The Army Corps of Engineers. He lost his two older brothers during WWII, at that time he was removed from combat and assigned to The Manhattan Project.
