Recruit training-Great Lakes, Illinois. Rode the USS California back to Pearl Harbor from California when she was put back into service after the attack. Stationed at Sub Base, Pearl Harbor. Received the Asiatic-Pacific Medal, American Theatre Medal, WWII Victory Medal. Discharged at Lido Beach, New York 4-5-46.
