Activity During WWII

Worked in the Puget Sound Navy shipyard from 1942 to 1944 as a Apprentice Mechanic/pipe fitter. Enlisted in 1944 and served in the Pacific. Earned the Good Conduct, American, Pacific, Occupation and WWII Victory medals. Also awarded the combat ribbon and a marksman badge. He was the Marine Boxing champion for three weeks in 1944. Discharged in April, 1946.
