Activity During WWII

Navy Pilot on USS Enterprise CV-6. Flew SBD's Dauntless Dive Bomber from USS Enterprise CV-6 during the Battle of Santa Cruz Island on October 26, 1942. Four Japanese Carriers sunk. USS Hornet CV-12 was lost, USS Enterprise CV-6 sustained heavy damage. Participated in combat on Guadalcanal.
