Activity During WWII

He was a tail gunner and crew chief. His B-17 Flying Fortress was shot down after a raid on a German aircraft factory on August 6, 1944. He was first buried in Belgium, then repatriated in 1950 to Beverly National Cemetery, New Jersey. He is buried with a fellow crew member.
