May 1943; commissioned U.S. Army Nurse Corps as Second Lieutenant at Ft. Monmouth, NEW JERSEY. Basic Training at Ft. Dix, NEW JERSEY. Assigned to 90th General Hospital AND 77th EVACUATION Hospital. Transported to England. FROM AUGUST 1944 - November 1945, Hospital Unit deployed; Landed on Utah Beach in France. November 1945-1947; stationed at Camp Patrick, VIRGINIA as A flight nurse.
