Entered service on 10 February 1941 at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana. Served in the Aleutian Campaign with the 11th Air Force, 343rd Fighter Group flying P-40 Warhawks and the 901st Army Air Force Base Unit Tactical Unit. Pilot of a P-51D Mustang, No. 44-13258. Killed in a mid-air collision on 14 June 1944; 10 miles West by North of AAF Orlando, Florida. Rank Captain.
