Served in the Philippine Islands with the 57th Infantry Regiment (Philippine Scouts) at Fort William McKinley. Commanding Officer of k Company. Also served with the 83rd Infantry Regiment (Philippine Division), 3rd Battalion Commanding Officer. Awards include Silver Star Medal, Bronze Star Medal and the Purple Heart Medal. Was captured while investigating troops attempting to halt the invasion on Cebu. Believed to have been executed by Japanese forces while Prisoner. Was not recovered at wars end. Rank: Lieutenant Colonel.
