Activity During WWII

Pilot (B-25) for the Sky Dragons, a pioneer Bombardment Squadron in China under Major General Chennault. He joined the Army after graduating from Easton High School, when he was 16 years of age in 1939. He made Sergeant Pilot in July 1942 and 2nd Lieutenant, summer of 1943 after being sent to China. On September 9, he received the Purple Heart and the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal on September 30. Killed in action on October 26, 1943.
