Activity During WWII

After a short stint in the U.S. Naval Reserve from October 1942 to August 1943, he enlisted in the U.S. Army in October 1943. In July 1944 he was appointed as an aviation cadet and in February 1945 he was discharged to receive a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant. He served overseas from February 1946 to March 1946. He was killed transporting retired aircraft from Hawaii to California on March 19, 1946.
