Company Clerk of Baker Battery, 563rd Anti-Aircraft Artillery Automatic Weapons Battalion in Belgium. Composed letters for those in our group who deserved a Bronze Star, one was deemed worthy of a Silver Star. At Drew Field Tampa, Florida I wrote a daily mimeographed analysis of the war for troops in the 315th Army Air Forces Base Unit in 1944. Before we crossed the Rhine River near Remagen, I erected Los Angles City Limits signs to welcome troops to the East Bank of the Rhine.
