Activity During WWII

He was sworn into the Military at the Induction Center at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas. After basic training he was assigned to the 451st Bomber Squadron of the 322nd Bombardment Group. He was assigned the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater of Operations for missions over France. The War Department reported him missing in action and presumed in dead in a mission over France on March 18, 1945.
