Activity During WWII

He served as a Private First Class in WWII with the 100th Infantry Division (Century Division), 399th Infantry Regiment, First Battalion, Company B, in the European Theater of Operations. Killed in Action on November 14, 1944, he was awarded the Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster. He is buried in the Epinal American Cemetery in Epinal, France.
