735 Railway Operations Battalion in Europe 11/27/1943 to 2/14/1946. Escorted supply Trains and POW transport Trains to and from the Front through France. Was trapped behind German lines in the Battle of the Bulge and hidden by french family until US Troops reclaimed the area. Also was in WWI at age 16 with NY 108th Infantry National Guard in Plattsburg NY
