Activity During WWII

Regiment: 527th Bomber Squadron, 379th Bomber Group. He was second in command on one of the Army Air Corps big bombers. He was reported missing after the daylight precision raid by 200 American planes against the German naval bases of Wilhelmshaven and Cuxhaven which occurred June 11,1943. On Friday, October 29, 1943 the War Department officially listed him as killed in action.
