Activity During WWII

Entered the U.S. Army on March 19, 1942 and sailed for the European Theater of Operations on March 22, 1944. He fought on Utah Beach, Normandy with the 90th Infantry Division on June 6, 1944, and was taken prisoner of war by the Germans on June 19, 1944. He was liberated May 8, 1945 and was given his honorable discharge October 31, 1945.
