Military Occupational Specialty 866 Radar observer in B-24 Aircraft. 13th Air Force, 307th Bombardment Group H, 424th Squadron. Stationed in Morotai. Broke femur at Clark Field Philippine Islands in October 1945. Missed flight home. Plane on which he was scheduled to leave crashed on Guam after refueling. Due to missing the flight, his life was saved. Recipient of Air Medal.
