Activity During WWII

Served as a guard on the River Bridge in Bismarck, North Dakota, the only active railroad bridge in 100 miles during WWII. He guarded German and Japanese war prisoners at Fort Lincoln, Bismarck. During this time his son was a Prisoner of War in Germany.
