Activity During WWII

Served in Great Britain from 1942 to 1944. In July of 1942, he started a field hospital in Normandy that gradually advanced near the German border. He served as a doctor there treating invasion casualties and women and children. He was transferred back to a general hospital in Normandy where he was in charge of prisoner of war casualties.
