He served the WWII effort in two ways. He was a registered New Jersey Pharmacist working long hours to support his wife and two young children. He was 31 years old at the time. Pharmacist's were also needed here at home. He also served as a Civil Defense Monitor taking to the streets when blackouts were in effect.
