From Boston College he enlisted in The Army. Enlisted in Reserves on December 11, 1942. He reported to Camp Devens on April 30, 1943. He completed on March 29, 1944, the Army specialized Training Program Course in General Basic Engineering. He was killed in action in Germany on November 26, 1944.
