Activity During WWII

Served as Crew Chief and Engineer on the Liberator B-24. He was in the 330th Bomb Squadron, 93rd Bomb Group of the 8th Air Force out of Royal Air Field Bovingdon, England. His crew was selected to escort Lt. General Frank Maxwell Andrews to Washington, D.C. He was killed when the plane crashed into Mt. Fagradalsfjall in Iceland.
