Activity During WWII

Served in Patton's Army. He was a squad leader for a half-track. He was in the second wave of troops on D-Day. He was sent on reconnaissance missions in Germany territory and selected to bear witness to the liberation of Dachau. Received the Good Conduct Medal, WWII Victory Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with five bronze stars, and a Distinguished Unit Badge.
