Activity During WWII

In 1942 he entered the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York. In 1944 he joined the U.S. Navy as a Lieutenant Junior Grade where he served in the Pacific supporting U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps operations.
