Activity During WWII

She enlisted in the service of the Women's Army Corps on February 26, 1943, and entered basic training at Fort Des Moines, Iowa. She was graduated from the Motor Transportation School of the Second Women's Army Corps Training Center at Daytona Beach, Florida, after a six weeks course. Then she was assigned to driving an army vehicle. She saw service in the Army at Camp Kilmer, New Jersey, as an ambulance driver. In December, 1944, she was transferred to the Medical Corps and stationed at Tilton General Hospital, Fort Dix, New Jersey. On June 30, 1946, she was honorably discharged.
