Activity During WWII

109th Infantry, 28th Division. Landed at Normandy. Marched in 28th Division parade after Paris liberation in August 1944. Was with 28th Division as allies first crossed into Germany. Was in Battle of Hurtgen Forest. Shortly after he was wounded and died on November 20th. He was buried in the Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery in Henri-Chapelle, Belgium.
