Activity During WWII

Before his induction on April 28, 1941, he was a painter. He was assigned to Company D, Medical Corps, 69th Medical Regiment, and sent to Camp Maxey, Paris, Texas. While serving with the Medical Corps, he drove a truck and an ambulance. In December 1945, he was honorably discharged from the service at Fort Dix, New Jersey. He holds the Good Conduct Medal, the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre Ribbon, Overseas awards and three Battle Stars for service in South France, Normandy and Germany.
