Activity During WWII

Enlisted as a member of the 129th Ordnance Maintenance Battalion (7th Armored Division). served from January 5, 1943 to October 15, 1945. He was reassigned June 25, 1944 to Company L, 116th Infantry (29th Infantry Division) where he was a radio operator #776. He was wounded (received the Purple Heart) in France August 5, 1944. Returned to action January 10, 1945 to serve with the 116th until he returned to the U.S. October 1945.
