Enlisted December 16, 1941. 310TH BOMBER GROUP (MEDIUM), 381ST BOMBER SQUADRON. He was awarded the Air Medal (twice) and the Purple Heart Medal. B-25C #41-13084 'Dis'n Did't' took off with a crew of 6, along with other B-25 aircraft, and they attacked a German Airdrome located at Gabes, Tunisia. Four of the B-25's, including his, were reportedly shot down by ground anti-aircraft fire. The entire crew was lost. February 8, 1943.
