Activity During WWII

On February 29, 1944, he was called to the Army and received his basic instruction in medical training as a company first aid man, and in hospital work. He was assigned to the 195th and 199th General Hospitals, Army Service Forces. On November 22, 1945, he was honorably discharged from the Army at Fort Dix, New Jersey under the point system. He holds the European Theatre of Operations Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.
