Activity During WWII

On December 15, 1942, he enlisted in the Air Corps of the U.S. Army. His basic training was taken at Jefferson Barracks, Missouri, with the 33rd Training Group, Squadron A. He also had military training at the University of Wisconsin and further training in the plant of Roscoe Turner Aero Corporation at Indianapolis, Indiana, where the trained for Cross Country Flying. He was discharged February 26, 1946 at Fort Dix, New Jersey.
