Activity During WWII

He enlisted in the Army on November 23, 1943. Attached to Company C, 325th Medical Battalion with the 100th Infantry Division, he received his training as a medical technician at Fitzsimons General Hospital, Denver, Colorado. Further assignment followed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He took part in the battles and campaigns of Central Europe and Rhineland and received the following decorations and citations: American Service Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the WWII Victory Medal. He was discharged on February 15, 1946 from Fort Dix, New Jersey.
