Activity During WWII

She entered the Army Nursing Corps in March 1945, and began her basic training at Camp Swift, Texas. She was sent for overseas duty in the Asiatic area, where she was assigned to the 313th General Hospital, Philippine Islands. She served overseas sixteen months. She earned the Asiatic-Pacific Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, and the WWII Victory Medal. On June 4, 1946, she was discharged upon the termination of her service from Camp Dix, New Jersey.
