Activity During WWII

He was sworn into the Army Air Force on 16 July, 1943 and after receiving basic training and additional training as a radio/gunner. he was assigned to the 451st Bomber Squadron of the 822nd Bombardment Group. He was killed in action in a mission over France on March 18, 1945. He received the Purple Heart, the WWII Victory Medal, The European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign medal and the Good Conduct medal.
