Participated in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater of Operations from March 1944 through April 1945 as a B-24 Co-pilot assigned to the 11th Air Force, 28th Bomb Group, 404th squadron stationed on Semichi Island which is part of, or near, the Aleutian Islands. Flew 23 combat missions over Japanese held islands and Task Forces. Was honorably discharged from U.S. Army Air Forces in 1945. Medals include the Distinguished Flying Cross and The Air Medal. He continued his service after WWII.
