Activity During WWII

Seaman 2nd Class. Served about the Destroyer USS Dehaven (DD-459). On February 1, 1943 off the coast of Salvo Island the Dehaven was attacked by Japanese bombers. The USS Dehaven was sunk. Seaman Coughlin was killed along with many other sailors.
