Enlisted 28 August 1941 achieving rank of Staff Sergeant. Commissioned 2nd Lieutenant, 14 December 1944 and separated from active service 2 January 1946. Airplane mechanic on B-26 airplane and various type of training planes. Airplane mechanics school instructor. Crew chief and Aerial Engineer on B-26 airplane. As Primary Duty Control and Prod Officer, assisted in solution of procurement and production problem in connection with P-51 and P-82 airplane production. As Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, supervised work on projects of short duration concerning aircraft engineering maintenance of production problems. Also as Officer in Charge for control branch in Maintenance Control in storage of B-29 airplanes. WWII Victory Medal, American Theater Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal, Aircrew Member Wings.
