Activity During WWII

Seaman 2nd Class. Served aboard the Ammunition ship USS Mount Hood (AE-11). The ship was anchored at Seeadler Harbor at Manus Island, Papua New Guinea with an estimated 3,800 tons of ammo. On November 10, 1944 the ship exploded killing everyone on board.
