Activity During WWII

Aviation Radioman 1st Class, U.S. Navy. Active Duty: May 23, 1942 through December 19, 1945. Received Naval Radio Operating diploma at U.S. Naval School in Bedford Springs, Pennsylvania. Completed Naval Air Gunners school in Hollywood, Florida. Participated in 7 total airstrikes in Guam, Rota and Yap Island. Served most of his naval career on USS Aircraft Carrier Yorktown. Honorably discharged on December 19, 1945 at Lido Beach, New York at U.S. Navy Separation Center.
