Activity During WWII

He was is the U.S. Army Reserve and was activated to the full time U.S. Army while he was in training in Hawaii in December 1942. He was a Pearl Harbor Survivor and subsequently participated in several WWII campaigns being fought throughout the Pacific islands. His tour of duty ended in 1945 after he was transferred to Europe to guard captured German prisoners.
