Activity During WWII

Joined the service on November 1, 1940. He trained for the armored artillery. His unit entered Europe through the beaches at Normandy shortly after D-Day. Served with the 6th armored division as a 1st sergeant and recipient of the Purple Heart, bronze star, Silver star plus he was honored with the distinguished Service Cross by General George Patton.
