Activity During WWII

Known for his mechanical engineering abilities and his mathematical mind he was trained as a B-29 and C-47 airplane mechanic when he joined the U.S. Army Air Forces in 1945. He was deployed to China, where he maintained the U.S. Army military planes that were delivering supplies to support Chiang Kai-Shek’s Army. He was awarded a WWII Victory Medal.
