Activity During WWII

He joined the U.S. Army Air Corps in 1942 where he went to B-17 Mechanic School in Amarillo, Texas in 1943. He worked later as a B-29B Engine Specialist/R-3350 Engine Installer, Serving with the 402nd Bomb Squadron based at Northwest Field in Guam. He was discharged in 1946.
