Activity During WWII

In February of 1942 she enlisted in the Navy Nurse Corps and received her assignment in July 1942. She was stationed in Brooklyn Naval Hospital and the Naval Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. Later she was transferred to the Bellevue Dispensary, Washington D.C, where she served for a year and a half. She was then transferred to U.S. Naval Hospital, Corona, California, where she remained for fourteen months. After four years of service, she was honorably released from active duty on August 2, 1946, at the Separation Center in San Francisco, California.
